Central Park Hoodie

Isn't this looking divine? I am so excited about how this jacket is looking. I've just got to the armhole shaping on the back now and I'm in love! I had forgotten just how much I love cables. The Cascade 220 is knitting up beautifully too. It didn't feel especially wonderful when I touched it in the shop, but it's a whole different experience when it's knitted up.

I am totally satisfied....and I'm only on the first part of it!

I knit mine in the summer of a plain brown heathery wool and did it with a color instead of a hood. That cardi saved my skin on my recent trip... it was so toasty warm. I'm thinking of making another one in a prettier color though...ciao

Hi Rositta, I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of use out of mine too.

It's beautiful and I love the color. I've been admiring Rositta's collarless version too. I've got to get her to email me her modifications.

220 is one of my favorite yarns. It's so reasonably priced and never lets me down.

Rudee - you're so right. I'm falling in love with 220. I'm making the Chameleon hat with it too and the more I use it the more I feel that it's a yarn I can truely rely on.

it's going to prettiful! Love that color. I'm itching to go to Joann and do some yarn shopping - not cuz i need the yarn because i live in a yarn barn but just because!! I am going to head over there to the jewelry making aisle cuz i'm gonna make some of my own stitch markers (mebbe just one skein)

WTKnits, I can't seem to find you on Ravelry!? :O (I'm Dawnzknitz).

Thank U for checking out my blog and posting a comment! I'm enjoying yours very much! I'm going to be watching your CPH come along because I would LOVE to make my own one day! I've yet to attempt an adult size sweater so far. What a gorgeous color you picked too! :)

Are you using the superwash Cascade 220 or the regular?

Hi Dawn & Beverly! Thanks for dropping by. You can find me on Rav as Wilde Thyme Knitter.

BTW I'm using the regular Cascade 220 for the CPH.

Sorry, just managed to change my name on Rav to WildeThymeKnits so that I'm easier to find. Couldn't do that last time I tried.
